Why should I get a Pre-Purchase Inspection?

A car is often one of the largest expenses someone faces in their life. And second-hand cars often come with their own history… sometimes involving poor maintenance, crashes, neglect, and dodgy repairs. A pre-purchase inspection, completed by a qualified mechanic, can identify many of these issues and gives you the best opportunity to make an educated decision prior to parting with your hard earned cash.

What do I get after the Pre- Purchase Inspection is completed?

Following a completed inspection we will provide you with an overview of our professional findings. This will include detailed notes on any structural or mechanical issues they have found with a fully comprehensive report.

What vehicles can we assess?

Cars, utes, and SUVs
We check most light vehicles, including cars, utes, and SUVs. Hybrid and Electrics.

Campervans
We can assess small campervans (less than 3500kg gross vehicle mass). We will do a thorough check of the vehicle, but we don’t assess the condition of the accommodation or other camper-specific items.

Classic and Modified Vehicles
For classic and modified vehicles, I recommend a comprehensive assessment be carried out by a classic or modified vehicle specialist.
